The purpose of this study was to determine the role of interpersonal communication in improving the performance of employees at the Bidakara Hotel Jakarta. This study describes that the role of interpersonal communication is very important in building good relationships with guests and between employees, improving performance and mutual understanding between subordinates and superiors, and improving coordination of various activities or different tasks. This study was conducted at the Bidakara Hotel Jakarta using a qualitative descriptive methodology by taking informants from Bidakara Hotel Jakarta employees. The research instruments used were primary and secondary data in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. For this reason, in employee relations must be supported by openness, trust, and an attitude of mutual support. The results of this research show that interpersonal communication affects employee performance and achieving openness in face-to-face dialogue. And effective interpersonal communication can provide benefits to improve employee performance at the Bidakara Hotel Jakarta, including: Increasing motivation and work enthusiasm: Open and positive communication can make employees feel appreciated, respected, and involved in decision making.
